DEATH or BIRTH CERTIFICATES

Death or birth certificates can be obtained from the Nebraska State Office building located in Lincoln's GOLD's Galleria building at 10th and N Street in Lincoln Nebraska.  This office is responsible for public records including birth, death, marriage and divorce certificates.  No records are stored at Adams County, so all requests for death or birth certificates need to be directed to the office in Lincoln.

The vital records can also be obtained through the U.S. Mail.

You may also use the state's website to acquire information at www.hhs.state.ne.us/vitalrecords.  At this website you can get the application to send in for certificates.
